As I began reading the first story, I was quickly drawn into the narrative and was enjoying a “good read” when it abruptly ended. I felt like I had been pitched a great idea for a story, and was disappointed to learn the pitch was the whole thing. Reading my way through the …more book, I found the stories varied in genre, the ability to hold my interest, and quality. There are moments, paragraphs, glimpses, that encouraged me to keep reading. The first six words in this book are, "It starts out as a curiosity-", and within a few pages my own curiosity became thoroughly piqued. The story began to fly off of the pages and I felt that pleasure that readers feel when we find ourselves reading a talented author.
