The Poet's House
by Jean Thompson
Interesting read (7/8/2022)
I'm not entirely sure how to review this book. I mostly enjoyed the plot but also sort of felt like I wasn't sure why I was reading the story. The characters were ok and maybe it just wasn't my cup of tea since I'm not really into poetry.
Heartbreak: A Personal and Scientific Journey
by Florence Williams
Surprisingly wonderful (11/22/2021)
This book isn't necessarily one that I would have picked out at this stage in my life but I'm very glad that I got the opportunity to read it as an advance copy. I really enjoyed how the author wove her personal journey with the science of heartbreak. I have nevermore

Excellet Fictionalization of a Historical Story (9/14/2021)
I really enjoyed this book, the characters were all really well developed and the story was very engaging. I liked the historic aspect of the novel; I had no idea that these events took place in the past. I think this would be a great book for a college course, it's somore

And When She Was Good: A Novel
by Laura Lippman
Good Read (7/1/2012)
The book was really easy to read and I really enjoyed the story line. I liked how the story went between the current time and Heloise/Helen's past from chapter to chapter, it helped to explain what was going on and to develop the characters nicely. I also really enjoyedmore
The Secrets of Mary Bowser
by Lois Leveen
Glad I Kept Reading (5/25/2012)
I found the first portion of the book a little slow but I'm glad I stuck it out because this was a great book. The story is wonderfully told and all the characters are so full of life you can't help but feel like you are right there with them. I love that Mary Bowser ismore
