It takes a village (7/28/2021)
You've heard that sometimes it takes a village. This time it just might take a community. I loved how this diverse cast of characters found a way to come together to support a cause they all believed in.

Ellie and the Harpmaker (4/10/2019)
I enjoyed this book. I especially like Dan not only the way he viewed life but also how he felt about the people in his life.
American Princess: A Novel of First Daughter Alice Roosevelt
by Stephanie Marie Thornton
American Princess (12/1/2018)
I just finished reading American Princess. I found the book both entertaining and educational. I particularly liked the stories of time spent at Sagamore Hill since I have had the pleasure of touring the home.
Fly Girls: How Five Daring Women Defied All Odds and Made Aviation History
by Keith O'Brien
What about the "Fly Girls"? (7/18/2018)
I did not like the book. I never finished it because I felt there was too much background information and it was taking too long to get to the point. I am from Long Island so I didn't need to read all about Roosevelt field or the Garden City Hotel, places I have been to on many occasions.
