Sweet Caress
by William Boyd
Sweet caress (6/6/2016)
I found this book to be not as good as his previous books.I enjoyed some of the history interwoven with the photography but on the whole the characters lacked realism.
A Certain Age: A Novel
by Beatriz Williams
A certain age (3/29/2016)
I thoroughly enjoyed this historical novel. The roaring twenties was an exciting era. The character's were realistic and entertaining. It was a story of a bygone time and an intriguing murder. I enjoyed this book
The Return of the Witch
by Paula Brackston
The return of the witch (1/5/2016)
I am a fan of historical fiction but I thought I would try something different. This book is fine if you enjoy witches and fantasy. I believe I will stay with my choice of genre.
The Secrets of Midwives
by Sally Hepworth
The secrets of midwives (12/10/2015)
I always enjoy generational sagas especially this book. The character's seem very human living with secrets past and present. I would love to see a followup
The Devil in Jerusalem
by Naomi Ragen
the devil in jerusalem (7/3/2015)
I was very interested in reading this book since I am of the Jewish faith.I learned a lot of things that I hadn't known but in all honestly I found the book to be somewhat shocking and frightening.I have read many of Naomi Ragan's books and enjoyed them but not this one.
