Let me start by saying that I did like this book - as a nice holiday weekend read. I read it really quickly and it kept me interested. If it had stayed at that I think my review would have been better. But there were so many little storylines going on at once and it wasmore

I liked this book. I liked the way the author tied in some history of firefighting in the Irish American community with present day real-world events (9/11). I liked the way she went into depth on the impact of the culture of fire fighting on several members of one family.more
