The voice written in the 2nd person didn't bother me as much as it did others though I'm glad the book was short! The impossible situations the main character finds herself in and her somewhat improbable decisions make for an interesting story. Her feelings were undeveloped …more so it was not possible to really understand or empathize with her. She didn't seem to explore her inner life but only went with the flow, reacting to her circumstances. Maybe many of us have experienced that period in our lives. Not sure I would recommend the book. There are better reads out there in which to lose oneself. (less)
