I enjoyed this book very much. I've told so many people about this book- I think Friendship Bread will make the rounds in our small community. It was fun to see what happened when one loaf of bread was left on a doorstep...that was only the beginning of a great story!

I enjoyed this book. I felt like I was reading a memoir. This was a book that I had a hard time putting down. I had to know what was going to happen next, and how things were going to turn out for Grace. Little Ben touched my heart.

I wouldn't call this book a literary standout. But, I would say that I thought it had an entertaining, imaginative plot with many surprising twists. The chapters, alternating between the 1300's and the present day, gave an interesting change of pace.
