Room: A Novel
by Emma Donoghue

If I had been able to read the whole book I would have agreed with Gabrielle Renoir Large. I could not stand the voice and narration of the 5 year old for an entire book. The baby thoughts were unbearable (and I babysit for a 2 year old every day). If the story had been …more told in the mother's voice it may have been better. I felt claustrophobic and bored.(less)
