Original Sin (2/8/2011)
I loved this book! Such a great combination of mystery/thriller/chicklit.....and I enjoy all three of these genres so what a treat to have all 3 in one book! I read this book over a weekend..not because it is a short easy read but because I couldn't put it down! I lookmore
Minding Ben: A Novel
by Victoria Brown
Minding Ben (2/8/2011)
I really enjoyed this book. Gave so many different perspectives rather than just the usual difficult New York parents and spoiled child vs poor pathetic over worked nanny take. Victoria Brown allows us to see what Grace is coming from in her Trinidad upbringing and hermore
Gone Tomorrow: A Jack Reacher Novel #13
by Lee Child
Gone Tomorrow (10/16/2010)
This is only the second Jack Reacher book I've read..it was decent. Good plotline and kept my interest until the very end. It was a quick and easy read and I'd recommend it to fans of espionage style thrillers.
The Ghost of Milagro Creek
by Melanie Sumner
The Ghost of Milagro Creek (7/7/2010)
Although this book was not my usual genre I did enjoy it. The author did an excellent job of allowing the reader to witness events both past and present using different narrators...I felt this added to the insight of both the plot as it unfolded as well as to the charactermore

The Swimming Pool (2/28/2010)
I did not really care for this book. The premise sounded good and when I sat down to read it I was hoping it would be a real page turner. Sadly, that was not the case. I really did not like any of the characters...felt they were all very flawed and didn't have a lot ofmore
The Secret of Everything
by Barbara O'Neal
The Secret of Everything (12/13/2009)
I found this book to be an easy read. It kept my attention but wasn't as much of a page turner as I had hoped. The main character, Tessa Harlow, has nearly recovered physically from a hiking accident but is still struggling to recover mentally. As she pushes herself to facemore
South of Broad
by Pat Conroy
South of Broad (9/23/2009)
Pat Conroy is one of my favorite authors and he did not let me down with his latest novel, South of Broad. It is a wonderfully written account of a white middle class teenage boy growing up in the south during the tumultuous 60s. He is the anchor of a racially, socially andmore
