A Child Called It: One Child's Courage to Survive
by Dave Pelzer
Amazing(11/1/2006)
I like reading enough, but I absolutely loved this book. I read it all in one sitting. It made me cry, but it also reminded me how lucky I am compared to so many kids who are abused in many ways. Sometimes people just feel sorry for themselves, but books like this can …more remind them that there's always somebody way worse off than you. This book was amazing.(less)
In the beginning, I really liked the story. Then, it sort of dragged on, and my interest waned. I kept reading, hoping the action would keep moving; that it would get better. In my opinion, it really didn't. It's all-in-all an OK book. Definitely not one of my favorites, …more but better than some of the stuff out there.(less)
