The most compelling book I have read so far. I would recommend this to anyone who's thinking of taking drugs. James Frey is right when he says no one sane would want to be like him when he was taking drugs but he is an incredibly strong man to have not only over come drugs …more but done it more or less by himself and not the way they wanted him to. While he's in rehab he has a dejected outlook on life and the things hes been through prove the truth is often stranger thann fiction. (less)

How i live now is a powerful book with issues that people, especially teenagers are presented with today. The way Meg Rosoff wrote the relationship between the cousins Edmond and Daisy was vague in a sense but that kept if more private....[edited to remove plot spoiler]... …more one of my favourite books.
