I love books like this. Where an small story in the newspaper sparks not only an entertaining read, it highlights strong women of the past and future History day topics for students.

I found reading the actual story of the sisters very interesting and enlighting. Thanks for pointing it out.

I'm a little late joining the discussion due to family issues, but I was finally able to sit down and read the book and I just loved it and I will now be reading the next in the series Lady Cop Makes Trouble. I just hate that I will have to wait a few more months before I can read it.
