What do you think comes next for Lucy and Bert and the rest of the Brown family? How do you think their experiences and decisions will affect their futures?

I don’t know what comes next but I hope there is a follow on book - I’m looking forward to seeing the girls grow.

My hope is that both girls continue their educations and live happy successful lives. It’s kind of like “and they all lived happily ever after.”

It would be interesting to see what happened to the Brown family and particular Lucy and Bert. Hope they do something with "bees."

I too, would like to see a sequel.

I would read a sequel to this fascinating book in an instant! I really became invested in their lives and what the future might hold for them. I was a little sad to come to the end of this story.

I also would like a sequel to find out what happens to Bert, Lucy, the Brown family, and their community. I hope Aunt Fanniebelle continue to show the girls another way of life and helps with their education. What happens to the POWs, do some of them stay? Does Helen find peace? Just a few questions I have.

I think that Bert and Lucy will remain friends and both will get a good education
