How does each main character deal (or not) with loneliness?

How does each main character deal (or not) with loneliness?

I think all of them try to connect to someone or try to find people with whom they can spend time with. I think Kemi is the most successful when she finds Malcolm and eventually Tobias. Three I think become genuine friendships. Muna hopes her roommates will fill her loneliness gap but that doesn't happen. Gunhild eventually proves to be the relief for loneliness only for Muna to loose her through death. Brittany thinks Jonny will end her loneliness but that only proves to be a collusion. I'm not if her child will be the re!ief for Brittany's loneliness.

They focus on working. Their energies are put into doing their jobs and trying to distract themselves from loneliness.

Each of the characters deal with loneliness differently as they each have a different reason for their loneliness.

Muna wanted a "family" based environment that would be be bounded by a shared experience/trauma not that it would be the same as her but that they would be supportive of each other and help each other to survive in their current environment.

Kemi was very competitive and had succeeded in her career and wanted to be just as successful in a personal/love life as her twin sister is. Kemi would apply to dating apps to find personal connections but is also willing to explore making a connection in clubs.

Brittany's past has her seeking a relationship with someone who will not lie to her. She was in a relationship when she meets Jonny and while she flirted with him, but what sealed it for her is that she thought he would not lie and that he would make her the center of his world then she felt she could trust her heart to him despite some of the warnings that was going on in her mind.

Eventhough Muna tried to deal with her loneliness, her everchanging circumstances prevented that from happening.She saw suicide as her only relief.
I didn't get the feeling that Brittany was all that lonely. At least it wasn't on the front burner while she was trying to figure out what was evolving with Johnny.
I'm beginning to think that maybe Kemi's fluctuations with different men had sonething to do with lonliness.
I don't remember if she was seeing a counselor.
