Submitting a book to BookBrowse

BookBrowse Book Submission Form

Please read the submission guidelines before completing this form.

Thank you for your interest in BookBrowse. Please make sure that your book meets all the criteria listed in the submission guidelines before making a submission. If you cannot meet one of these requirements you are simply wasting your time completing this form because we will automatically reject any book that does not meet all the criteria listed - and before considering a book for review we do check all salient details including reviews.

We will acknowledge receipt of your submission within 24 hours of receipt; then it is put into the queue of submitted titles. We look closely at every submission and, if your book looks to be a good fit for BookBrowse, we will be in touch a.s.a.p. to request a review copy.

In a perfect world we would like to write a detailed response to every person explaining why his or her book has or has not been short listed for BookBrowse but, unfortunately, time restraints and the sheer quantity of submissions do not allow us to enter into this level of dialogue. Thus, in general, after the initial confirmation email you will not hear from us again unless it is to request a review copy.

Thank you

Davina Morgan-Witts, BookBrowse editor

I suggest you copy and paste any large quantities of information into this form rather than typing it in (e.g. book synopsis, excerpt, bio etc), so that, just in case the form fails to process (which is rare but has been known to happen), you do not have to start your submission from scratch!

Submission Form

Every field must be completed.
If a field does not apply to you just type N/A (or some other such response)!

  • (Please check your email address - we cannot reply if your email address is incorrect!)
  • Please read these statements and check the box below to show that you agree.

    I confirm that:

    • The information I have given about this book is accurate and that it meets all the submission criteria as detailed at BookBrowse.
    • If the book is accepted for recommendation at BookBrowse, I will be able to provide an electronic excerpt (HTML or Word) of at least 1,500 that can be permanently posted on BookBrowse at no cost.
    • Any reviews I have submitted to BookBrowse are genuine and have not been edited in such a way as to change the reviewer's intended meaning.
    • The publication dates are accurate and that the earliest first publication date for this book in the USA is within the last 3 months.

    I understand that:

    • Book submissions are usually viewed by BookBrowse in under a month but, other than the initial confirmation of receipt, I will not hear from BookBrowse unless it is to request a review copy.
    • Requesting a review copy does not in any way guarantee or imply that the book in question will be featured on BookBrowse.com.
    • If a review copy is sent, it becomes the property of BookBrowse.com and will not be returned.
    • Review copies are usually read within about four weeks of receipt by a BookBrowse editor or reviewer. BookBrowse will not enter into discussion as to why a particular book has been rejected.
    • BookBrowse does not sell review copies but if the book is a finished copy, may use them as prizes in on-site giveaways and quizzes. Any finished books remaining at the year end that are donated to a local library or other suitable non profit organization. All ARCs are destroyed.
