Having survived a life-threatening bout of cancer myself, I found this book went right to the heart of the issues you are faced with. The feelings and the way they are expressed are so genuine. I had a hard time getting through it. I found myself crying during the sad and happy parts. It should be required reading for Middle School students!

I feel that this book will touch the lives of many people. Not only those that are diagnosed with cancer, but those who any disiease or have loved ones who may suffer. Lance is a great example of letting nothing hold you back, from a dream that you heart most desires no matter what the circumstances maybe.

This book made me take the inside look to what Lance went through, because he's so thorough; he tells the truth without making it sound like he wants sympathy or anything, because he tells it like it was. He's gone through testicular cancer, chemotherapy; and he came through both, which is awesome.
