My sisters keeper
Oh my gosh, this is a beautiful novel written about Anna, a 13 year old girl that decides she no longer wants to be the doner to her sister who has leukemia. She wants to sue her parents for right to her own body.

I recommend this book to all teens and adults who want a moving book. Remember the book is really different from the movie and I for one like the book much, much better.
I loved this book.

Best Book!!
I think that the change in perspective was not confusing, but entertaining. Jodi Picoult made it clear by not only telling you who's perspective the chapter was from, but each character had their own designated text font to make the difference more clear. In most books I read, I dislike change in perspective, but Jody Picoult made it entertaining.

The beginning draws you in and throughout the book you learn slightly more about each character, which makes the book more and more clear. Then, there is the AH-HAH! moment at the end that makes you feel surprised and appreciate the author's brilliance.

I have never read a book with an ending as surprising and entertaining as this one. There is sadness, frustration, but lots of love intertwined in each page, and from the very beginning I couldn't find myself without it for more than an hour.

My Sister's Keeper
This book was required summer reading at my son's high school. I'm glad I read it first. This book may have a good story line but it is inappropriate for teens- to much "smut"- parents beware!

Hated It
I hated this book, I don't see why everyone thinks it is so great. First of all, the way it switched views from chapter to chapter was confusing. I'd start a new chapter and think "I" was Anna, but "I" was Campbell... Second, was all the profanity really necessary? This was the second book I have read by Picoult and I WILL NOT be reading anymore. It was entirely too long, dragged out, boring...I just hated it. I am going to see the movie with my sister since she asked me too, I figure they couldn't have made it near as bad as this novel. I can't say that I am looking forward to seeing it though. If you are undecided on reading this novel, please don't waste your time!!

Perfect Piece
This piece was one that really hooked me. I loved how Jodi was not afraid of touching on sensitive topics, most writers would have left out. There was absolutely no stone left unturned. I laughed and cried because of the realization that some people are going through struggles just like the ones in the story. I recommend everybody should read the book immediately !! You don't want to miss out.

Sucker Punch
I was COMPLETELY enthralled with this book, right up until the end. I had never read Jodi Picoult before. Knowing that the movie was coming out, and it looks so interesting, I figured I'd read the book first. This author took what could have been an amazing story, and did nothing less that end it with a cheap shot/sucker punch that is nothing less than a complete insult to the story, the characters and the reader. It was completely infuriating. I called a friend of mine to ask her if she had ever read it. She told me that when she got to the end that she physically threw the book across the room and nearly hit her husband. Ugh. I don't think I'll ever read another book by this author again.
