Rosie O'Donnell Biography
Actress, comedienne and talk show host Rosie O'Donnell was born March 21, 1962, in Commack, Long Island, the middle child of five. She attended Dickinson College and Boston University before turning to a career in comedy. She appeared in number hit films, TV sitcoms and comedy specials, and hosted her own talk show from 1996 – 2002, winning the Daytime Emmy Award in 1997, 1998 and 1999. She was also a co-host of The View from 2006 – 2007. She currently lives with her family in Nyack, New York while continuing to appear on talk shows and radio programs throughout the United States.
