I hate to be the one person who absolutely hated this book - but come on - it was poorly written, I was almost gagging from the sweetness. It was so unrealistic. Would a mother really write about her sexual life with the daddy to her infant son? I felt roped in and used emotionally at the end. I say - Mr. Patterson - keep writing your mysteries, but romances, maybe you should let the experts at Harlequin do that.

This was one of the best books I have ever read. Once I started reading this book I could not put it down. As I read I laughed and I cried. This book made me feel and that is why I liked it so much. But beware you will need many tissues while reading this book. This book is definatly not for some but if you are a faithful hopeless romantic this book is perfect for you. I read this book when I was 13 and I have read it many more times and it still gets to me. I would say this book would be right for anyone in their teens and up.

This book was awesome!! I had already read a lot of James Patterson's books and greatly enjoyed them. Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas was different, but definetly worth it. I was pregnant with my third child when I read this and it really hit home. It's a very emotional love story full of surprises. I named my baby boy Nicholas.

This is my first time reading James Patterson and I like his style, for the most part. I know it is a diary and he must have dumbed it down a little for the believability that Suzanne had actually written it, but much of it seemed thrown together and to the point. But, what a great story line! I have read over 8 books in the last month and that one stuck in my mind, very original. I am anxious to read one of his mysteries, of which I usually read.

This book has me at a loss for words. It's beautiful. All mothers will love it..... cry for it..... I felt as if I knew Matt, Suzanne, Nicholas and most of all, Katie. It's an awesome book and so worth the 2 days it took me to read it!

I read this book in like 6 hours! I'm not a big reader, but when I find something I like I just can't put it down! I thought this book was very good. If your a fan of "Lifetime" movies or the Women's channel, and you like to read I would definitly recommend this book! I thought it was very good! If you read it you would agree it would make a great movie as well! It's a touching story... I'd say have some tissues!
Fearless, gripping, at once darkly funny and tender, spanning three continents and numerous lives, Americanah is a richly told story set in today's globalized world.
The story of an American family, middle class in middle America, ordinary in every way but one. But that exception is the beating heart of this extraordinary novel.
