I absolutely adored this book. It was a pleasure to divulge through each and every page, and even more of an honour to read a book so greatly admired by other authors, that was written by a fellow Australian. I have read this book five times, and not because I am going to be writing a report on it for an assignment, but because of the author's sheer brilliance in the way she portrayed the outsider, Celia.
Reading her book for ever more,
Melissa (Age 15) |

Awesome! I'll give Feeling Sorry For Celia a 10 if I could. Jaclyn Moriarty created characters you'd love to know and be friends with if they weren't fictional. Their conversations (letters) were well written, very witty. The letters from imaginary association reflects your average teenager's thoughts and insecurities. While humour is its main selling point, one must appreciate how the several parallel story lines sort of converged in the end. This book has lots of pleasant surprises. |

I didn't really enjoy 'Feeling sorry for Celia' as i thought it was a hard book to start reading! I felt that you COULD put it down, unlike Harry Potter which you CAN"T! So overall i give it a 1. |

Feeling Sorry for Celia was absolutely fantastic! It was originally written, exciting and expressed the feelings of Elisabeth very exactly! I hope Moriarty will write more! |

Felling sorry for Celia was fandabydosy! Everything about it was so Ab-Fab I couldn't believe it. I've read it 10 times which is two more than I read the lord of the rings series. I think Jaclyn Moriarty is a delicious writer. My favourite hobby now is to snuggle up with a cold beverage, a fingernibble or two and read F.S.F.Celia. The letters from the different societies are funky, cool and ultra kinky. This book is hilarious! If you haven't read it- read it right now. Don't waste a minute. Its fantabulous!!! |
