I think Anne Rice is one of the best writers of this time. She has a creative mind to write her novels and writes them to add suspense to the readers. When you read any of her books, you want to keep reading to find out what happens next. With The Vampire Armand, I read a lot and I was able to finish the book like in about a week and a half because there's so much suspense and kept me reading.

This book is one of the best installments of Anne Rices chronicle. It is described so deeply and you love Armand (even though he may not be alluring in earlier books).
Any gothic fan, horror fan or anne rice fan shoud read this book.

Rated 5 of 5 of 5 by RavenRiverez
Anne Rice's novel, The Vampire Armand, is a thrilling masterpiece of lavish and rich images blended together to form a delicious tapestry.
The scenes in the novel are unforgetable, so much so, that when not reading, one is drawn to it, as if ghostly hands are leading them back to the book. "A marvolous piece of work."

-Enjoy!
PS-If you enjoyed this book, you'll love Pandora, and Vittorio the Vampire.

I love The Vampire Chronicles, and I especially love this edition. Armand is my favorite character. What's not to love? Eternal youth, beauty, determination, love and heartache. He is one of the most beautifuly developed characters in the chronicles, along with this book. I love him!

just the best book ever!

Rated 5 of 5 of 5 by Jeyanthin
The book "The vampire Armand" is my most favourite book and Armand my most favourite book character ever. Anne Rice describes the story of Armand who is abducted by slaver-traders and is treated brutally by them until he's found by the vampire Marius. I think it's the best book Anne Rice has ever written. The feeling of an ancient and passed culture comes up to the the reader. Anne Rice writes about the dramaticall things that Armand has to go to like the slavery etc. etc. how he has to suffer and the pain he feels. But also how deeply he loves the vampire Marius or his parents.... and about the great times he and Marius had in Rom etc. But see it yourself. I would like to get post of other Armand fans so feel free to e-mail me I allways like to get post of Anne Rice or Armand fans
