Edwardo

Edwardo was a complicated and interesting character. Did is "homelife" and marriage influence his dogged and crafty pursuit of Lily? His method of interrogating Sebastien and Anna were so devious and determined I was reminded of Columbo or Javert in Les Mis.

Was he so passionate about this case because it was his job or was there something else behind his behavior? Was he perhaps entranced by Lily?

RE: Edwardo

When I read the first chapter that went into who Eduardo was and his views, I thought he would make an interesting main character for a mystery series. But over the course of the book, my opinion changed as I thought that Eduardo had issues that definitely affected how he did his job and it seemed how and why he wanted Lily prosecuted became more personal about him and his feelings than about justice being served.
