I suggest Jacqueline Louise Cardoza reads Harry Potter And The Sorcorer`s Stone,Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets,Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, and Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire!
Aimee Cardoza (06/25/03)

I loved the second book. I was interested in the chamber of secrets. I saw the movie and then finished the book. I gave the book for my mom to read. Now I am on the 3rd one.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets does not live up to its phenomenol predecessor in a number of ways. The setting still remains the same, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and a new mystery has to be solved by Harry Potter(of course) and his friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The supense is great, but sometimes I just believe Ms. Rowling tries to hard to make her book scary and the end result is comical when its not supposed to be. For instance the Whomping Willow, great in the movie, bland in the book. Also the spiders; she only wrote two lines about them chasing Ron and Harry, the movie equivalent was much longer and much more frightning. Now don't get me wrong, I love reading the books better than seeing the movie. I believe that J.K. Rowling is a wonderful author that keeps her reader's attention from page one to the end. She just tried to hard in this book and the Chamber of Secrets is probably the weakest of all the four books. Still a decent read though.

I thought it was an OUTSTANDING book by Joanne Kathleen Rowling because it made me what to read it all because it was interesting. Also because it was long and keep me busy I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. AS SOON AS THE 6TH BOOK COMES OUT I'M GETTING IT. PERSONS OF ALL AGES LOVE IT! Its a magical book once again J. K Rowling has amazed us. If there was a chart for the best author out of 1000 (1 being the best) J. K. Rowling would be 1. MY TEACHER, LOVES HARRY SHE ALWAYS LETS US GO ON THE HARRY WEB PAGE !

The harry potter series is a great way for kids to experience a whole new world, yet through a adolescent boy's perspective. As the reader grows up, so does Harry. Harry can be a model hero for children and even for adults. as for mishmash's review who could give harry a 2? i guess i should respect everyone's opinion. The series is amazing! period.
Mishmash (05/28/03)

I really feel the whole Harry Potter craze is way out done. The books are written for children and that is why they are so well liked. Todays teenagers are so laxed in their learning that they have a craving for childrens books because they only understand them. If they read the newspaper more then they would have benefitted far more than reading these books. But I'm not going to mention the whole witchardry thing.
