This was not one of his action filled novels. It is still a good read and I would recomend it to anyone who appreciates law. They also have to be able to follow plots easily. Otherwise it was a nicely written book.

It was a little boring. It seems Grisham's books are getting more and more boring. Used to, I couldn't put it down.

I loved this book. The ending could have been better, but overall I thought it was great, but aren't all John Grisham books good?

This book was okay, it kinda kept my attention. The begining was sort of slow, but as I read on i got more into it.

This book rocked! "The Brethren" was the first John Grisham book I ever read and it got me hooked. I wish they would make this book into a movie instead of "The Runaway Jury" I loved reading about judges in jail. That was the part that got me to read this book. I've read it three times already and I'm reading Grisham's latest "The King Of Torts".

I have just finished reading this book, and let me tell you, I have been proven wrong. I thought that this book would not be worth reading, that it would be just like the rest. So, I got this book for my birthday, and I began to read it just to see how bad it was. After reading the first few chapters, I realized that I could not, and that I would not, put this book down until I had read every word on every page. It pulls you deeper into the plot, until the end, which could have been a bit better, but nevertheless, it is a great book. Hopefully, John Grisham will decide to either write another book like The Brethren, or he decides to turn it into a movie. Can anyone say Oscar?
