Accurate presentation of submarine activity
This is a book that everyone needs to read. It is extremely accurate in telling the story of the life and times of the cold war nuclear submarine. The inclusion of the "Horse and Cow" Bar (H and C Ballroom) in Vallejo adds to the incredible account of the submarine sailor's life.

As a person who has a close contact with the US submarine force, I found this book very interesting, though dry at points. A lot of technical data and shop-talk through some parts of the book, but that provides an excellent background for the more interesting parts of the book. I liked it, and I would recommend it to someone who is interested in the history of the submarine fore.
Scott (05/30/02)

I had to read it in English and it was very boring.
