Wow!! It was an exciting book. I have never ever had a book that i couldn't put down. It makes you wonder and have shrills up your sleeve. Cornelia Funke has a great talent when it comes to writing books. I hope evry single book of her's is published in english and i'm sure it will be just as great. I rate this a five because there nothing boring or something like that, about this book. I really elly feel bad that I can only rate this book a five because if i could i would so rate it 100.000.000.000.000.................... and it would never end i loved It~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly could not put this book down. It was so amazing i read it strait for a day. Its just long enough that you won't get bored and stop. It starts off exciting and ended even more exciting. Its a combo of suspence and fantasy. Buy it, its worth it!

This is the best Mystery book! I read the first chapter and got into it!

What a captivating book! The author obviously respects the intelligence of her young readers since there are several story lines to keep track of. The story is peopled by interesting personalities including strong females. And the setting is every bit as important as the characters - Venice is the perfect backdrop for such a rich plot.
