Great book but I think it's lacking something maybe its to kiddy orsomething I reccomend it to younger people.

This book is excellent. It has everything a good book should have. The charecters are likeable and realistic. The plot is magical, interesting, and fun. The ending is mostly happy. I love how the author describes things. I am 11, and it was perfect for me. However, no matter what age you are I'm sure you'd love it. If you have not read The Thief Lord, I simply have three words of advice for you. Read it now!

This is the absolute best fantasy book since the beloved Harry Potter! There needs to be a movie based on this book!
You will not be disapointed in this charming tale of a band of young thieves who work hard to stay alive in a modern day Venice!
You will love this book!

This book is the best i've ever read. It really lets you feel what the character is feeling,It also lets you feel like you really are in Venice.I loved Hornet she's tough , but she is a very caring person.

Me being a year 12 student i actually thought that "The Thief Lord" was a very mysterious and unique novel. It had it's twists and turns, ups and downs and it kept my attention. I am the kind of person who reads the first page of a book and if i don't like it i don't read further. However if the first page keeps me interested then i read the whole book from start to end. This is what "The Thief Lord" provided. I actually read it as part of my english assignment and i gained full marks. The teacher even commented that the book sounds very intreguing and wouldn't mind reading it him self! Not only did i read it as part of my english assignment but i read it out of personal interest as well as i got to choose which book i could read and write a response on.
