this book has opened up my eyes to a whole new world. it has helped to be thankful for my everday things and not to take things for granted.

This was an amazing book. I cried all the way through it, not because it was sad, but because it was a fantastic emotional insight into the possibilities of the after life. The character retained human emotion, and the plot was well thought out and believable.

This book is a great book and it has a great plot i had to write a book report on it for my 9th grade english class.

Because this book was on the bestseller list for so many months, I thought it must be fantastic. But after having finally obtained it at the Library, and getting into it, I was sorely disappointed. The beginning was captivating but it just went down hill from there. I felt there were too many loose ends and unresolved plots. It seemed to be an uninteresting cliffhanger that went nowhere. But then, I didn't like "Bridges of Madison County" either.

I can not praise this novel enough. It evoked so many emotions in me, horror, sadness, grief and joy to name a few. At times when i was reading I only realised I was crying when the words blurred. As i read of Susie and her inbetween heaven my heart overflowed with love and compassion for the character. The idea of a 14 year old child trapped because she can't give up earth and the family she loves so passionately is so gut wrenching. I feel strongly that this book makes you see a bigger picture, that by crying for Susie and caring so deeply for her family you suddenly realise that this happens to families for real. For me that was the true horror of this story. It is an outstanding novel, with such graphic descriptions that you lose yourself in it. I read it in one day, I couldn't put it down and I would recommend anyone to read it..............and I wonder if somebody I love is watching me right now, I hope so, its a comforting thought !!
