Vintage To Publish Iraq Study Group Report

Dec 06 2006

Vintage (part of Random House) have won the rights to publish the Iraq Study Group Report in book form. They plan to rush the book to press as a paperback so that it is in stores on December 6, the same day that the report is scheduled to be released to the public; it will be priced at $10.95.  The report was compiled by a bipartisan collective led by James Baker, and is expected to offer an outline of how the U.S. should proceed in Iraq.   As with the 9/11 Commission Report, a percentage of the proceeds from The Iraq Study Group Report will be given to charity.
