The American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression (ABFFE) is asking booksellers to post a new statement in their stores. "To Our Customers" explains the bookstore's support of free speech and readers' privacy. It comments on why booksellers believe it is important to carry a wide diversity of books, including works that some people may find offensive. "To Our Customers" can be downloaded at www.abffe.com.
