Nobel prize-winning Colombian author Gabriel Garcia Marquez has died in Mexico aged 87. Best known for his classic, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Marquez is considered the father of the magical realism genre. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1982.
