Guilt and death

On the ship when the young man is killed carrying the side of meat, Bo goes through a time of guilt and regret. The same feelings surface with Isla about her brother. How do you think this effected her relationship with Bo?

RE: Guilt and death

Did I miss something? What happened to Isla's brother that would bring on guilt and regret?

RE: Guilt and death

How often do we have that gut feeling that something could go wrong? In both instances frustration and tiredness factored in. Sadness..Control..expecting too much of ourself or others....life being overwhelming for both adult & child. Another of those life changing moments.

RE: Guilt and death

guilt and death - the loss of the father figure continues on into adulthood and leaves sad memories of words unsaid and things unfinished
