Glad you asked about that one! At the very start of the project C.G. Beaverton was inspired by a combination of Angelina Jolie and J.K. Rowling. Angelina Jolie for the way she threw her fame behind her cause. Then as I was exploring the 19th century, other role models came in, especially these women who used the male pseudonym—George Eliot, George Sand notably. That played into the mystery with Lafayette's letter writing, as you know…
