Unless he takes extreme measures to come to her and prove her wrong, it won't work. Just telling her to call him will never work. She was the wronged party. The longer he stays away, the more time she will have to develop her personality more fully and the less likely to be tempted again. That visceral attraction is powerful, but the wise person takes a step back and understands that doesn't always last for the long haul. Cassie seems more of a long haul person.

I thought it would work. I enjoyed the scenes at the end of the book when he and Cassie and Lindie are altogether. I felt that Cassie taking photographs again indicated that she had healed from the beginning of the book where really she was depressed.

I don't know if it will work since there is a lot of history, I hope it does work though because in many ways they seem well suited

I think they'll be able to make it work. They were together at the end of the book, Cassie was taking pictures again, and they had started to make plans for a future, discussing what they would do to help the town of St. Jude, making it a haven for artists and writers, " a way to breathe life back into a town that believed it was dying." I thought the book as a whole ended on a hopeful note for all concerned.

I doubt it, he doesn't really know her well, was infatuated with Tate, and I feel that Cassie would not want someone who could even be a personal assistant.

I have doubts that it would work. I did not see a strong emotional bond between them. It seemed more a casual physical attraction. He was not a very strong developed character in the book.

That is a very good question. I want to believe that they could make it work, but there is a lot of negative history.

I doubt it will work as Cassie has now found strength in her own character. Of course, one can view the story as a fairy tale where the heroine rides off with the hero, but it is not a fairy tale. Another question might be, will Cassie save the town?

Well, since they are fictional characters, that is really up to the designer of their story. I think we all look at the end of a book and then place our own life experiences into it. If you have had a trust issue in your relationship and were never able to get over it, then you could well believe it would not work. Since there is nothing beyond their being together and making plans at the end of the story, it is easy to imagine how a relationship could grow as they continue to make plans for a share goal. Isn't that every relationship?
