Embarassing Moments

An adolescent is usually embarrassed at some point by his parents. Did Scott skip this stage/ Is he glossing over details?

He might have skipped over / glossed over - it's totally understandable that there must have been some of those moments; however this book was not about that. I did not feel shorted or misled in the least. This was about the celebration of his mother whom he greatly admires & appreciates. She is dying, he is holding her hand & they are recalling their story! They communicate, he tweets, we get to have a very personal insight to this most personal of moments!
