Did you think Jane would agree to giving her relationship with Charlie another shot?

In the end, when Charlie returns and asks for a second chance with Jane, did you think she would agree to giving their relationship another shot?

No. I think she had evolved in dealing with relationships and was in a different place.

I feel like at the end that they did decide to get their relationship another chance.

No -- and I thought this storyline didn't add anything to the overall novel.

No. If only because there wasn’t enough book left. :) No, seriously, because she’d been hurt by him and nothing in anything leading up to that moment led me to believe she had any lingering feelings for him. I thought it was an unnecessary plot point, actually. Fine that her past relationship with him may have explained why she was a bit noncommittal with David, but no need for him to come back. If someone was going to test Jane’s resolve for the situation, I think it should have been someone new. I think it would have been better to skip the Charlie and William plot points and given Jane a shot at someone else to really test the situation.

No, she was beyond that relationship..whether he was reformed or not.

I would like to think she would give him another chance. I don't foresee a good future for Jane if she stays in the love triangle relationship. Toward the end of the book, David asks Kate if she's sure she's okay with the arrangement and he tells her if it becomes a problem for her, he would stop seeing Jane. I wonder how Jane would feel if she knew she could be dismissed so easily.
