I picture the soldiers spending down time in a cafe or dance hall singing songs representing their homeland and perhaps listening to the jazz music of the time as well. Listening to bluegrass music creates a feeling of simpler times. A feeling of relaxing on the back porch with family and friends. A picture of the "ol' swimming hole and driving a pickup truck through rain puddles. What good times!
