What kind of justice do you think Caroline gets in the end? Is it what she deserved?

Caroline explains that she thought she could punish Earl and move on, but she might only get one of those things. What kind of justice do you think she gets in the end? Is it what she deserved?

There is not enough that could ever give her what she deserves..,

I don't think the novel did a great job of closing that part of the story. As it stands, Caroline did NOT get justice. I feel like there are too many loose ends.
