In chapter one, Cadie says that the opening line of her TED Talk would be "When someone says you're overreacting but you know you're right, keep reacting until it's over." How does that wisdom come into play throughout the book? Does it have applications outside of Cadie's environmental activism?

I don't know that I see a lot of wisdom in Cadie's quote here. So often (especially during these times in our real world!) people think they are right and react...when they aren't and shouldn't. Maybe we don't need to encourage this anymore ;)

Good point Amber! I definitely think it depends on the situation. People shouldn't necessarily double down on every single opinion they hold--I think openmindedness is such an important quality--but when someone has the research to back up their opinion like Cadie did here, I think doing whatever it takes (short of causing actual harm to other people) in order to make your voice heard can be critical.
