You're attending October's "Sorrow: This Is Art" exhibit. You sit down across from her and take her hands. What emotions would she feel in you right now?

I think she can feel worry, stress, and anxiety due to the pandemic, but also love, selflessness, and gratitude for the 24/7 family time I am getting with my kids.

For me, I think it would be contentment. It took me a long time to adjust to the "new normal," but somewhere around the middle of October it seems like I adapted (it only took seven months!).

October would actually feel "sorrow" as my husband is terminally ill and I'm his caretaker. She would also feel that I have been blessed my many acts of love and kindness throughout this journey. This may sound strange, but it's actually brought my spouse and I closer emotionally than we'd been for a long time.
