What's more important, friendship or family?

I think that both often intertwine and that family becomes friends and vice versa. I also believe though that friends will pick family obligations and needs over that of other friends. Perhaps the thinking is that family will always be there even when friends come and go. Physical proximity to either family or friends often determines emotional attachment or so I have found.

Gosh, that’s a tough question. I don’t live close to my siblings so, in that case, my friends are more important. Also sometimes they seem more like sisters than my real sisters. But there is nothing more important than my children, their spouses and my grandkids

Family and friendship do intertwine and are important in different ways to assist with questions you may have and support your decisions and often friends become family.

Tough question. I do not think one is more important than the other. I think they both serve different purposes in our lives and are meant to complement the other.

I think that close friends are family. Blood may define blood lines but history and open heartedness are bonds that last.

I have many friends that I consider family. They are both very important to me.
