NSFW Language

Did anyone besides me find the prolific use of the F-word to take away from my enjoyment of the story?

RE: NSFW Language

Truthfully, no. I'm not a fan of profanity, but I did not find the use of the word sufficiently intrusive to take away my enjoyment of the story. I barely noticed it.

I didn't really pay attention to it.

RE: NSFW Language

When I read this question, I have to admit I don't really remember the word being used. I must have read right over it.

Like Navy Mom, I honestly don't even remember the F word being used throughout the novel. I did notice the B word a lot, but I think that was useful in the emails to show the venomous hatred Mia must have felt, especially knowing it was somebody close enough to the family to know intimate details.

RE: NSFW Language

I agree with most of the previous posts. Today's novels and films are so filled with profanity that we just read right over it without noticing.

RE: NSFW Language

I don't remember any F bombs either, but then again, it wouldn't have bothered me

RE: NSFW Language

My only recollection was in a few short paragraphs of dialogue...might have been Cat and Luke talking. I thought there was minimal use of profanity and agree with the others. I was not offended at all.

Wow! I barely noticed. Shows how common it is. I wasn't offended and thought the dialogue was realistic and believable.

I really only noticed it a few times and it didn't bother me.
