About this book

Book Summary

When Alex helps rescue the passengers of an antique wooden boat the darkest hour of his life begins. Before it's over, he'll face gun smugglers, drug dealers, and a secret from his own past. In the end he'll have to make a basic, brutal choice about who he is and how far he'll go to exact revenge. The stakes have never been higher and the cost never greater.

Steve Hamilton is one of the most critically acclaimed writers in the world. But it was his standalone The Lock Artist that made publishing history, the first book ever to win an Edgar for Best Novel in America, a CWA Steel Dagger for Best Thriller in the UK, and an Alex Award which is given out by the American Library Association to those books that successfully cross over from the adult market and appeal to young adult readers. The Lock Artist has...
