Comment: In this age of movie-star worship, it seems that fewer and
fewer 'stars' are content to
merely act when they can generate multiple and lucrative income streams from
putting their name on a brand of clothing, perfume or whatever - so why not
books? This appears to be what's happening here - Pamela Anderson has
teamed up with ghostwriter Eric Shaw Quinn to produce a line of heavy
breathing, fast reading novels - Star last year, and Star Struck this year.
The upside is that at least they don't appear to be taking themselves too
seriously - according to Anderson's biography, the authors are "very proud of
Star, their first work together; but a little
disappointed that they could spend this much time together and not be linked
romantically in the tabloids!"
