Publication Information
Secrets of the Alchemist Dar, the sequel to the New York Times bestselling A Treasure's Trove, is a fantasy story about Dark and Good Fairies, spells and eclipses, and Michael Stadther's signature characters: Zac the handsome woodcarver, Ana his beautiful half-elf half human wife, and their trusty doth, Pook.
The mystery begins with clues concealed in the pages of this book that will give anyone anywhere in the world who can read English a chance to solve the clues and obtain one of the one hundred real diamond rings.
Armchair adventurers will discover the treasure-hunting experience of a lifetime, and families will enjoy hours of reading together.

According to Publishers Weekly, this book is to have a 1 million copy first print run - which is extraordinarily high for a book that isn't by J.K. Rowling. It also comes with an interesting hook - a world-wide treasure hunt that will run from late July up until December - the prizes are 100 diamond rings each valued at $10,000. An odd choice of prize, me thinks, considering the target market is 9-12 year olds, but I suppose even the young need their "bling-bling" these days! More information at www.atreasurestrove.com
