About this book

Book Summary

"I'd never given much thought to how I would die - I'd had reason enough in the last few months – but even if I had, I would not have imagined it like this... . Surely it was a good way to die, in the place of something else, someone I loved. Noble, even. That ought to count for something."

When Isabella Swan moves to the gloomy town of Forks and meets the mysterious, alluring Edward Cullen, her life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. With his porcelain skin, golden eyes, mesmerizing voice, and supernatural gifts, Edward is both irresistible and impenetrable. Up until now, he has managed to keep his true identity hidden, but Bella is determined to uncover his dark secret.

What Bella doesn't realize is the closer she gets to him, the more she is putting herself and those around her at risk. And, it might be too late to turn back... .

Deeply seductive and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight will have readers riveted right until the very last page is turned.

Media Reviews

"Meyer's description of the lovers' emotions is palpable, and readers will be drawn into the couple's spiraling dance, feeling the intense longing that comes from being a hair's breadth away from the thing you want most in the world. Ages 12-18." - KLIATT.

"Starred Review. Although Edward and Bella's romance and subsequent danger develops slowly, the pacing is appropriate for teens who want learn all the details in this suspenseful tale. An excellent purchase for both school and public libraries." - School Library Journal.

"Starred Review. There are some flaws here--a plot that could have been tightened, an overreliance on adjectives and adverbs to bolster dialogue--but this dark romance seeps into the soul." - Booklist.

"This is far from perfect: Edward's portrayal as monstrous tragic hero is overly Byronic, and Bella's appeal is based on magic rather than character. Nonetheless, the portrayal of dangerous lovers hits the spot; fans of dark romance will find it hard to resist." - Kirkus Reviews.

Twilight
Twilight is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Romance, trauma, and vampires? I mean who wouldn't love that? I refuse to believe that Twilight is not an AMAZING book.

TWIGIRL DELIGHT
Bella- Not your typical Teen who finds out that her new home town is not as typical as she once believed. There is something different about a few of the townfolk and Bella is determined to figure out the mystery. A mysterious boy commands Bella's attention. Edward behind his dark eyes awaits a dark secret. The draw these characters have for each other is electrifying.

Romantic and witty , Dark and mysterious, leaves you wanting more.....

What i thought about the story
This is such a good book.
I can read it over and over and over again. I think in the beginning, Edward was acting like an ass, but then both Edward and Isabella grew really close and ended up together as in the were in a relationship. They are really such a cute lil couple.
At first I thought both the movie and book would be stupid but then I went to go see the movie, then I read the book, and I was like hey, this is actually good. I found it very interesting. :)

My feelings
When I read Twilight, I couldn't stop reading it. I can relate to Bella's feeling's when she falls in love with Edward, because I fell in love recently myself. This book is amazing!!! I am so happy that it is a series and I look forward to Meyer creating a fifth book. The romantic remarks are just speechless. I recommend this book to every human in the world. I'd even recommend it to dolphins!! BEST BOOK IN THE WORLD!!!

Twilight

The Romance
The novel Twilight was not a book that I read on sudden captivation but on the hype of it all. Though once I got into the novel I could not put it down and read all 500 pages in about a week. Stephanie Meyer takes her time to really put you in the shoes of Bella and make you understand what she is really going through by moving across the country to a place completed different than what she was used to. I think the way that Stephanie makes you come connected to Bella is why the books are so popular because when she feels pain it is as if you are feeling the pain yourself and you just have to keep reading to see how Bella turns out and makes it through. I would recommend this book to many readers who like the types of books that put them in the element of the story.
