What is RSS?
RSS (generally referred to as Really Simple Syndication) is an industry-standard format designed to enable the easy sharing of web
content, such as book information, news reports, blogs, or any other information
which is updated regularly. Since its introduction in 2004 it has rapidly become a popular way to send information
(text, audio - such as podcasts, and even video) to people over the internet.
