Free book reviews of the best books to read

BookBrowse reviews the best new books,
both fiction and nonfiction

At BookBrowse we don't just provide our own reviews of books, both fiction and nonfiction, we also provide a wide range of book reviews from other leading sources including reviews from the publishing industry, USA media, and international media.

Because most book reviews tend to be plot-heavy (often giving away key plot details) we read each review and then summarize it down to a few sentences representing the reviewer's essential opinion. This means that you can read the range of review opinion without endless repetition of plot details or, for that matter, plot spoilers! We also apply a rating to each review so, at a glance, you can see what the reviewer consensus is for a particular book.

In addition to summarizing the range of media reviews, we also provide our own in-depth review reviews and recommendations. Unlike most book reviews, which are heavy on plot and light on opinion, our reviews focus on the characters, themes, writing style, and overall experience of reading the book. We tell you why we chose to recommend it, and why we think you might like it, and we take you Beyond the Book to discover fun facts and inspiring histories.

Our engaging reviews are personal, reflective, fun to read and ultimately help you decide if a book is right for you. Members have full access to our reviews and back stories at all times. Non-members have free access to a select number of currently featured book reviews in full, and to snippets from the others. (Membership Information)
