I read this book in two sittings, that says it all. While not his best book, it is excellent.

I have read all of Mr Grisham's prior books and this is his poorest effort. Poor plot--poor characters--and poor ending. Plot involves 2 brothers--an attorney and an addict--$3 million and their Father. I read about 1/2 the book and wondered when the story was going to begin. Mr Grisham introduces class action lawsuits--casinos--and money laundering into his plot. Save your money and your time. You will never see this book on the movie screen and it never should have been printed.

a story so poorly conceived and constructed that one wonders what happened to the former fascinating story-teller of his workaholic days!
