I absolutely love this book. I like the prospective the author wrote from and his unique style. I'm about 350 pages in and I can't get enough. The characters are incredibly descriptive and the story is vivid. This book is a MUST read!!

"A Painted House" is a definite collection book. It is a book that you fall asleep with every night because you cant stop reading it. I read it for my summer reading book for school. I had a better summer by reading it. John Grisham is an exceptional author and I recomend this book for everyone!

A Painted House by John Grisham is an excellent book for all readers. I am 13, my mother is 46, and my grandmother is 74. We all read and loved this book. It has alll the elements in a great book including suspense, a love story, and a story of finding who you really are. This book is truely one of John Grisham's best books and is extremly different than all the others by him. If you are expecting it to be like The Last Juror then I don't recomend it to you. So read this book with an open mind and enjoy!

This novel was a good read. It was involving and let you enjoy the struggles and triumph of a rural family. It is a updated "Grapes of Wrath."
